The Jazz Xperience consists of Darnell Barnes (keyboards), Lamar Barnes, (bass guitar, percussion), Kenny Williams (lead guitar), Guy Barnes (flute, trombone), Keenan Selico (drums), and Amanda Domen (oboe, horn). The Jazz Xperience is a group of friends, family and military veterans who have collectively shared the stage with War, the Average White Band, The Gap Band, the Jackson Southernaires, After 7, Babyface & L.A. Reid. They began their musical career and had a dream when they all were in elementary school. They continued their love for music by playing in individual bands in junior and senior high school. After that, they began to go their separate ways for a while.
Years later, they came together as one to form the group now known as the Jazz Xperience. Two years later, Darnell began writing songs that was laid on his heart, inspired by his life of hills and valleys, and the hard times that he went through. The group decided to go into the studio and put this music down on tracks.

For the last four years, the group has been performing in several venues in California and announced that God is the true source of their smooth sound, abilities and triumph over challenges. They give Him all the credit to bringing their project to the point of creating this album.
